How it works

One live record per store. Pointed at every place AI looks.

Banzai is agentic-commerce infrastructure for fuel and convenience retail. We connect once to the systems a store already runs and keep one live, time-stamped record per store in the Banzai Gateway. Then we open that record to AI, so assistants can find, show, recommend and, in time, buy from the store.

In four steps

From your back office to the answer on the screen.

  1. Connect once

We connect to the systems you already run: POS, back office, price book, or simple manual entry. Nothing is replaced.

  2. One live record

Each store gets one live, time-stamped record in the Banzai Gateway: store details, fuel prices and in-store catalogue.

  3. Accurate everywhere

Your name, address, phone and hours match on every listing, and your website, Google Merchant Center and AI agents read the same live record.

  4. Watched around the clock

We monitor what assistants say about each store and which AI agents read your data, and flag wrong answers so we can fix them.

The program

Crawl, Walk, Run, Sprint.

Four stages, always in this order. Here is what you get at each one and what is real today.

  1. Crawl

    Be measured

An AI visibility audit of every location, then ongoing monitoring: what ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI say about you, and which AI agents read your data.

    What you get

    • A baseline of the questions your customers ask, per location
    • Where assistants get your prices, hours and amenities wrong
    • Which competitors get recommended instead of you
    • Ongoing monitoring of AI answers and AI agent visits, with alerts

Live todayLive today. No system access or IT work needed to start.

  2. Walk

    Be found accurately

Answer engine optimisation (AEO). Your name, address, phone and hours match everywhere, and your website carries live, structured data AI can read.

    What you get

    • Consistent name, address, phone and hours on Google, Apple, Bing and your site
    • Live, structured store data on your own website
    • AI crawlers allowed in and able to read it

Live today, partly hands-onLive today. Listing clean-up is hands-on work with your team.

  3. Run

    Live products & fuel prices

We connect once to the systems you already run and keep one live, time-stamped record per store: fuel prices, in-store products and promos. Then we feed it to Google and AI agents.

    What you get

    • Fuel prices and in-store products kept current from your POS or back office
    • Your products in Google Merchant Center for free local listings
    • An AI agent connector (MCP) that answers "find a store" and "search products"

Live today (lookup)Live today for lookup. Google Merchant Center is launching.

  4. Sprint

    Transactions

AI agents complete the order: order-ahead pickup, loyalty and payment, through each platform’s checkout standard, with money going through your own processor.

    What you get

    • Order-ahead pickup placed by an AI assistant
    • Your loyalty program recognised at checkout
    • Payment through your processor, with you as the seller

DemoDemo only. Ordering works end to end with simulated payment. Not live for real money yet.

Where you’ll show up

Every place AI looks, with honest status.

Third-party fuel price services are not on this list. They are where assistants get stale prices today, which is exactly why a direct feed matters.

The foundation

One live record per store, and a way to measure what AI says.

  • Banzai Gateway recordLive

Fed from your POS or back office, or entered by hand.

    Stage: Run

  • AI visibility and agent monitoringLive

Nothing needed from you. We run it.

    Stage: Crawl

Where AI looks today

Assistants read your website and your listings. We make them agree with your live record.

  • Website pointer tagLive

One small snippet in your site header points AI at your record.

    Stage: Walk

  • AI crawler accessLive

We check your site lets GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others in.

    Stage: Walk

  • Google Business ProfileWe set it up

Add admin@banzaidata.ai as a Manager and we clean it up with you.

    Stage: Walk

  • Apple Business ConnectWe set it up

Add Banzai as a user and we keep it matching your record.

    Stage: Walk

  • Bing PlacesWe set it up

We sync it from your Google profile.

  • Google Merchant Center (free local listings)Launching

Built. You own the account; we keep your products up to date.

    Stage: Run

Agent connections

Direct connections that let assistants look up your stores and products.

  • AI agent connector (MCP)Live

Store and product lookup are live. Ordering is in demo.

    Stage: Run

  • Claude connector directoryPlanned

We submit our connector to Claude’s directory.

Ordering, payment & loyalty

Each platform’s standard for letting an assistant place an order, and how payment and loyalty would connect.

  • ChatGPT (Agentic Commerce Protocol)Planned

Needs a merchant application. Product feed first, checkout later.

    Stage: Sprint

  • Google agent checkout (UCP)Planned

Needs Merchant Center first, then Google’s approval.

    Stage: Sprint

  • Payments (Stripe Connect, store as seller)Decision pending

Money from an AI order would go through your own processor. Not live; demo orders use simulated payment.

    Stage: Sprint

  • Loyalty connectionPer client

Depends on whether your loyalty provider gives partner or API access.

    Stage: Sprint

SprintIllustrative scenario of the Sprint stage. Demo today, not live.

7:42 am. A driver on the way to work.

“Find me gas on my route and have a breakfast sandwich ready when I pull up.”

The assistant checks live prices and what is in stock, suggests a store, places a pickup order and pays through the store’s own processor, with loyalty applied. The driver never opens an app.

This is the goal of the Sprint stage. Today it runs in our demo with simulated payment.

How we work

Careful, step by step, and nothing disrupted.

  • No IT work to begin

The Crawl audit uses public data only. No system access, no passwords, no IT tickets.

  • One stage at a time

Start with one location or your whole network. Each stage and each channel is switched on separately.

  • Your systems keep running

We add a live feed next to your POS, back office and loyalty program. We do not replace them.

  • You own your accounts and data

Your Google, Apple and Merchant Center accounts stay yours. Every permission you give us is explicit and can be removed.
